The small 2000 series machines are designed to Lap and Polish components on a 5 carrier format (40 mm Max component size)
The components are placed in off-set position in the carrier to ensure full coverage of the lapping plate.
The machine structure comprises a rigid welded steel frame which carries the main drive components and the drive motors.
The machine has 2 drive systems, each independently controlled.
Outer gear drive 0.95A DC drive motor. Speed : 0 - 130 rpm, Inner gear drive 0.95A DC drive motor. Speed : 0 - 130 rpm.
Each Drive System is mounted fully sealed ball race bearings allow the smooth running of the lap plates.
The motor drives are controlled by inserters and the machine runs off a 240V supply.
