12” Diameter : 1/2 Light Band Accuracy- For over 50 years, Lapmaster has served the precision optics industry through innovative design and manufacture of high-quality precision finishing systems and solutions. Our equipment and expertise is well known throughout the industr y and serves some of the most demanding optics & electro-optics labs worldwide.
- Lapmaster offers a wide range of Optical Flats that complement our Monochromatic Light source systems.
- Our Optical Flats (1-sided or 2-sided) are available in standard diameters starting at 1” and go thru to 12”.
- We offer Fused Quartz as our primary material (best overall accuracy due to thermal stability), although Pyrex and Zerodur materials are supplied upon request.
- Concerning “specialty products,” we offer custom sizes made to order with various configurations including squares, rectangles and donuts, as some examples. Custom/irregular thickness is also available.
- Lapmaster also offers a service-life enhancing (scratch-resistant) “hard coat” (deposition film) option for our Optical Flats.
- In addition, two (2) “after-market” services offered are Surface Refinishing - Reconditioning and ISO-9000 compliant Re-Certification/Inspection.
- Stated Accuracy in light bands (0.0000116”). All prices include carrying case, subject to hange without notification. Prices on special sizes and donut flats on request. Single-side accuracy will be 20% less from list price.
